The young have been cinema’s core audience and most frequent visitors for decades - in 1983 tickets sold to 13-25 year olds represented 55% of all US cinema admissions.
But that number has declined significantly since then, reaching a historical low in 2011 when 12-24 year olds made up just 22% of all US cinema goers. By 2019 the majority of US cinema audiences were adults aged 25-39, outnumbering their 12-24 yr old Gen Z & Gen Alpha counterparts almost two to one.
How can we minimise or even counter this decline?
At the “Use Today’s Tech To Reach Tomorrow’s Moviegoers” Webinar our panel of experts will:
- REVIEW how the young cinemagoing market has evolved in recent years
- PRESENT the latest media consumption trends, from Gen Z to Gen Alpha
- CONSIDER how social media, mobile gaming and other content providers successfully interact with this audience digitally
- REVEAL how using the human touch to steer emerging tech can draw them to the big screen
- DISCUSS how a digital strategy can successfully generate empathy driven decisions
